How do I link my tests to my test plan via the import file

Hey

Pretty much learning as I go but have a question that if answered would really help, I am able to successfully upload an import file with all my tests but I then have to go into each test and add the test plan in order that I can see on my Testing Board.

Is there a way of being able to do this as part of the upload?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi @Neil Burton , 

It is not possible to import Test using the TCI and directly associate them with a Test Plan, because the association between those two issues is not a Jira link. As such, it is not possible to define before the Tests exist.
A quick workaround to associate the Tests to the Test Plan is to import them with a specific Label. That way, you can easily find and select them on the Test Plan's Issue Picker Dialog
