How do I load a saved filter for a timeline

How do I use a previously saved Jira JQL filter to control what shows on a timeline? I have a filter button on my timeline page but when I open it I do not see an option to load a filter I have saved.

I can see the filter at the very top of my Jira menu bar but when I run it, it shows list of issues as they are displayed in the issues view but I need the filter applied to my timeline view.

Hello, Good day. You can use the saved filter as an issue source in the board/Plan so that only issues returned from the JQL will be shown on the timeline. Thanks
