I setup my own dashboard a long time ago in JIRA. There are a few main boxes with titles which look like predefined queries. For each of these unknown type of boxes there is a little pulldown thingy in the upper right, when I click on the pulldown thingy, I get an "edit" option, but there's no way to edit the query being displayed.
The help page:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/configuring-dashboards-764478209.html
was no help. No picture identifying parts of the dashboard screen. Not sure if my boxes are "gadgets" or not.
What are my unknown boxes called, and how to I edit the queries in those boxes?
Thanks
Ben
I have an "Assigned to Me" gadget. When I click on edit for this, there is "Saved Filter" option.
Ah so the "Assigned to Me" gadget is different from a "Filter Results" gadget and not has a hardcoded filter associated with it. Ok. that's what I needed. Thanks.
@Benjamin Slade, if you edit a gadget (each "box" is it's own gadget) then you should see an area to select the filter. If you start typing it will auto-complete so you can select. If you want to edit the actual filter then go to the filter itself, change it and save it.
here is an image that might help. If not please provide more info on which gadget you are using and/or provide a screenshot.
