Hi,
Ok I need to move some issues from one epic to another epic within the same project and the only options I can see seem to be to link the issues? I have created the new Epic with links, but the project manager wants the issues in the original Epic deleted. I would just add them manually, however, the original issues have time logged on them that will be lost I presume, if I delete them and replace.
Thanks!!
Hi,
I have figured out a solution- It is possible to drag and drop issues, docs, etc in the roadmap view of the project between epics in the same project. This retains all info and is a simple solution. Tanks folks for your answers too :)
Hi Jo - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Create a filter with: "Epic Link" = ABC-123
where ABC-123 is the current Epic it is linked to.
Then walk through the Bulk Change process for Edit Issues and select all of them.
Then in the Epic Link field, find the Epic you want to move them to. Since they are all in the same project, that should be a problem.

Hi
you can do this by bulk option . in issue search search issues with that epic name and click on tools and choose the issues and click on edit there you will see an option to change the epic name.
