One of the issues in our Kanban board has an image attachment, and for some reason, this is showing as thumbnail on the card...
Is there any way to prevent this?
Thanks
I found a post saying..
if you click into the Issue ticket and hover over the attachment, a little icon should appear on the bottom right saying 'Hide on card'. Click this and when you refresh your board that should be them gone.
You need to use the attachments list "Strip View" (as opposed to "List View") on the issue for the "Hide on Card" feature to appear.

I had a hard time getting this to work - this is not working from the issue page, only on the issue modal that opens if you click on the issue on the board.

You can click on the Board Settings, then select Configure Board.
From the left side menu, under Board, click Card cover images. There you can turn it off.

This worked for me. The accepted answer above describes an option that isn't available for me.

You can Show/Hide attachments only card by card by hovering over a specific attachment in next-gen projects, but this option is not available in classic projects.
There are two types of projects in Jira Software: classic and next-gen. Classic projects feature standardized, global configurations that can be copied across multiple projects, and they can only be created by Jira administrators.

Hello @Avrohom Yisroel Silver
Have you tried this? I came across this documentation recently:
It turns out it is now possible from the board settings:

Interesting. I looked at that option before posting, but I don't have the same as you...
Any ideas? Thanks for the reply.
