Using the 'Kanban' project template, we have created multiple projects for Continuous Improvement work - we have changed and added different status options to these boards (backlog, planning, discovery etc).
We have also added a 'continuous improvement' label, and are using this to filter by (as we have some projects that are not defined as continuous improvement.
We are now trying to create a dashboard that reports on activity within the Continuous Improvement projects. To do this, we are using our custom CI filter but regardless of what gadget type we use we are getting duplicate statuses in the results, unless we create the gadget by project and not filter.
As you can see from the screenshot, the top 2 gadgets have been created by project, bottom has been created by CI filter. Ideally we would like to display all projects in one gadget.
Hi @Becci Kay ,
Welcome to the community !!
Does your 'Continuous Improvement projects' include company managed and team managed projects together ? If yes, then the workaround is to use different gadgets for team-managed (formerly next-gen) projects and company-managed (formerly classic) projects.
Here is the suggestion request with Atlassian to fix this issue

Hi @Rilwan Ahmed :)
Any of our projects that contain the label 'continuous improvement' are team managed, not a mixture of team/company.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Try creating filter for each project and use the gadget. See how it responds.

But does a gadget allow you to add multiple filters? When I have tried, it seems to only let me choose one - this is why I create a filter for the 'continuous improvement' label

Hi @Becci Kay ,
You are right. Gadgets allow to select only one filter.
The problem is, Team managed projects allows to new create status with the existing names. Whereas in Company managed project, it does not allow to create new status with existing name. Hence the duplicates in the gadgets.
Workaround:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Thanks for this, I don't know if those workarounds will be useful for us as we need a dashboard that consolidates all projects in one gadget - using multiple gadgets for each projects will make the dashboard too cluttered as we are reporting on different things. We want the statuses to be called consistent names across projects.
What about if I try changing the projects to company managed, rather than team managed? Could that remove the issue?
