How do I set-up Groups

How to create or set-up a Group/Teams in Jira Service Management and assign specific request for that group.

 

For ex.

Group 1 has a service request(common request (get it help, setup VPN), etc.) and incident requests

while Group 2 only has limited request only service request (get it help). Is this possible?

Hey @Janna 

This is possible, just have to do group, a field and automation

  • We have to create a Group in Jira user Management. Add the users to the respective groups
  • Create a group picker field in custom field.
  • After these you have to write an automation on this, based on the request type edit issue to add the group picker field to that particular group.
