How do I turn WATCHER to off by default?

I log a lot of JIRA issues. I only want to be a WATCHER for a select few.

Unfortunately, by default, I become WATCHER on 100% of all issues. Thats not useful

Therefore, when I log an issue, I'd like the WATCHER field to default to OFF instead of default to ON. Much more helpful.

Hi,

assuming you're using Jira server, you could check you personal profile settings:

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
