Hi,
My team and I are frustrated because after a certain amount of days, Jira deletes our completed tasks and no longer lets us see what is complete. I've scoured all the settings pages, but can't find a solution. Does anyone know how I can change this setting?
Cheers!
Andy
@Andrew Lawniczak It sounds like you're using the new next-gen Kanban projects in Jira Software Cloud experience.
If this is the case, cards in the Done column in next-gen Kanban projects are automatically hidden after 14 days to prevent that column from getting too crowded. This isn't a setting you can change.
However, you can find these issues again by selecting Looking for an older issue? in the final column of your board.
Hi Andrew,
jira does not automatically delete tasks. If the task does not remove someone from your team manually or not installed any plugin that does it.
In any case, this way you can find the oldest tasks in your jira(whether they are resolved or not.)

Sorry I used the wrong words. Jira hides cards that were completed more than 14 days ago, which is the issue i was referring to.
Do you happen to know how I can fix that issue?

Where to hide? If it's about hiding tasks from the Board, then you need to click Board Settings and check Filter Query and Kanban board sub-filter.
I'm guessing it's them.
