How do I turn off the auto assign cc user?

We would like to turn off the feature that auto assigns the user in the cc field of the email. Can someone help? I haven't been successful in locating this in the knowledgebase.  Thanks.

Hello,

There must be a mail hander, which is set to handle incoming mail (cog item -> system -> incoming mail -> mail handlers). Open the mail handler there in the Edit mode and uncheck the CC Assignee option.
