How do I update chrome for Trello in a way that works?

Hi,

Every time I open Trello I see a yellow band saying:

This version of Chrome is not supported, please update to a supported version. 

The I click on everything, download and accept everything but the next time I get the same message. 

How do I update Chrome in a way that works for Trello?

I work in Ubuntu Mint, does that pose a problem?
