How do i Bulk Rename Custom Fields?

Hi,

I wanna bulk copy of custom fields without using scripts. Is there anyway to do this ?

My situation:

Example of custom field:

i have custom filed called ABC XYZ also i have BCD XYZ likewise i have almost 60 - 80 fields with same pattern...ABC, BCD  are the project key & XYZ is the custom field name now i would like to remove the project key from all the custom field and replace them with only one field "XYZ"

How do i solve this.. Please help...

There is no bulk edit of field names.

This is probably because you shouldn't need it - standard advice for Jira has always been "avoid fielditis", meaning "do not create too many custom fields".

I'm afraid you will have to do this work by hand.
