I tried using this approach: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Prevent-users-from-logging-time-under-Epic/qaq-p/181423

1. Edit the workflow that relates to the issuetype

2. Add property key  jira.permission.work.denied to the step (also tried applying to the Transition) with no value.

3. Publish the workflow

However, worklog can still be created against the issuetype.

We're using Jira Cloud and Tempo timesheets.

Any help?

Hi @Pete Bramley

Have you added it to each step and transition in the workflow for your issuetype?

If that does not work take a look at this answer. Seems to be a common problem.

It worked for a few years ago just setting the property on all the statuses

I saw it working for some a couple years back. Maybe something has changed? @Matt Doar
