This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Setting a Default Value in the Description Field
I specified that I am in the Atlassian Cloud, and the same answer was returned, making the changes to a server file, which needs to be reset each time an update occurs. Normally, we are not allowed to change server file configuration values in the Cloud, so how would I introduce a template form inside the Description field of an issue automatically prior to creation?
You don't - as you say, it's a code change, and you can't do those on Cloud.
