How many levels of hierarchy can we create in JIRA using portfolio Plugin?

Can we create 'N' number of hierarchies or.. is there any limitation?

Did some digging for this question; to the best of my knowledge there does not appear to be any limitation on the number of levels a hierarchy can have within portfolio.

Indeed @Andy Heinzer, that is very true. 

On the following documentation page, you will see this described in the first paragraph,

[..] and allows you to create unlimited levels of hierarchy and customize the names.
