How to Customize the Summary Field in the JIRA

Am trying to customize the field of summary, in other words i want the Summary field width should be minimized.I tried in many ways but ended up in nothing.Could any one let me know know how best i can minimize the Summary field Column while am in the Issue Navigator page.

Issue am facing is i need to scroll to my left in order to see whether the JIRA is moved to different state i need to scroll until all my left.Before in the old version of the JIRA it was good as we could have seen entire page columns labels in single page itself after the newer version its been little difficult to view.

Suhas, I'm afraid that it's not possible to customize the size of the columns/fields displayed on the Issue Navigator page in JIRA OnDemand. I believe that the only way to achieve that would be editing source files of the system, however this is a restricted function on the Atlassian OnDemand environment.
