How to I make a single field required for only one issue type?

I have the issue type of Bug. When a user creates a new bug I want the Affects version to be required to know which version the QA team found it. I've tried following along with this digram, but I cannot seem to get it working.

Any suggestions?

It's the path on the left, in yellow.  You need to define a second "field configuration" where affects version is set mandatory, and then tell the "field configuration scheme" for the project to use the new "field configuration" when the issue type is Bug.

And in Field Configuration click on "Required" at the cf you want to have required.

Got it. I still had to add a Screen Scheme but that worked.
