How to Import Defects, Testcases from HP ALM 12.0

We are evaluating Xray and would like to conclude only if there is a easy way to import all the legacy tests and defects from ALM to Jira(Xray) in an easy way. Please provide the tried and tested addons for the same. T

Hi Greta,

For that version of HP ALM, we provide you 2 options to import your Tests and defects:

1. Using the Jira's native CSV importer. Documentation: https://confluence.xpand-it.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=21760052
2. Using the REST API. Documentation: https://confluence.xpand-it.com/display/XRAY/REST+API

Note that for both options, you should be able to extract the data from the HP ALM and tranform this data to the expected format. You can find all the details on the previous links of our documentation.
