How to Include Ticket Updates from last change in ticket in Excel Export of Jira Filters?

in jira filters we have functionality to download excel file of updated ticket. But when i download that excel file i also want to know what has been updated in this ticket. Is it possible?

Hi @Hamza D_ not an answer to your question, but out of curiosity: Why would you want to export a Jira filter to Excel to a static spreadsheet (snapshot) when your Jira filter provides a real-time view of your Updated field in a column?

I need to send daily updates on tickets that this specific thing is changed in this ticket.
For example, original estimate updated, A comment provided to the asked question etc. Updated column just provides the time at which change occurred not what change occurred specifically. If you know any other solution to my scenario of how to send updates to manager, please let me know. Thanks

In that case, you could use Automation to notify people (a manager f.e.) of changed values of specific fields via email.

Can you please guide me step to step to make this happen? Sorry i am just new to JIRA and I don't know how to do automation. A little help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You create a new automation rule:

  • Trigger: Field value changed
    • Fields to monitor for changes: Time tracking
    • Change type: value added, value deleted or any changes to the field value
    • For: all issue operations or create, edit, transition, assign
  • Action: Send email
    • To: Type to add email addresses, user/group fields or smart values.
    • Subject: Fill out a subject, you can use smart values optionally
    • Content: Fill out a message, you can use smart values optionally

If needed, you can add a Condition to restrict this automation rule to certain issue types or anything you like.

If you need to export ticket changes, you can do it with apps or using REST API. Here is the article that might help:
