How to Install a Dashboard Item using Atlassian Connect Framework

Hi everyone.

I've build an add-on with atlassian-connect-framework for Jira cloud,, it works fine.

now I want to add a Dashboard Item to it to use a small part of it as a gadget on the dashboard.

I added the dashboard Item module to the atlassian-connect-json and, the route works fine.

but the gadget doesn't appear on the dashboard "add gadget" menu.

I read different docs here and there, but I couldn't find any cohesive and structured step by step guide.

I found this one atlassian-connect-jira-dashboard-item-example  and did everything in there, but its not working for me.

Hello @Shahryar ,

If I understand correctly your add-on works fine but you are not able to see it in the list of gadgets when trying to add it to a dashboard.

In this case, you may want to check below thread in the developers' community about what seems to be the same issue:

• The Dashboard widget is not shown in the available widget list
