How to JQL query "Maintenance Window" or "Freeze Window" created in change calendar

Yojana Joshi August 9, 2024

I have maintenance window / freeze window created in Change calendar. But I want to write JQL query so that I can save a "filter" for them. How can I do it?

Hi @Yojana Joshi ,

Trying to understand your need here.  Do you want a query for "Give me all changes that are currently planned in a window"?

A change window ( maintenance or freeze) isn't an attribute of an issue. The current options are to check the issue one by one and see if there are any conflicts in the risk summary tab or view the change calendar to see of we have overlapping issues with windows.

I think this would be really neat but I haven't been able to find such a function in the  documented JQL functions here.  I think you should make a product suggestion to Atlassian.

Sorry not the answer you probably were looking for ;-)

all the best

Thanks Lisa. I want to list only the "freeze windows" / "Change windows" defined in change calendar. I want to use this filter to display it in confluence calendar.

So yeah, going through one by one doesn't help as its about listing them separately for review by different people.
