How to Post-function assign to Unassigned?

Hello,

I am trying to use the post-function in order to assign an issue to Unassigned.

My 'Allowed unassigned issues' is turned ON

and when i use the post-function it assigns the issue to the Project Lead instead of Unassigned.

My 'Default Assignee' for the project is the Project Lead (maybe this is the problem?), but i do want all issues to default be assigned to Project Lead instead of one specific workflow (which is in use for several issues).

Any ideas?

Found the solution!

I've installed JIRA Suite Utilities plugin and used the Clear field value post-function

After you set it, you will see in your post-functions list:

1. The contents of the field Assignee will be purged.

This should do the work
