How to Remove an user from watcher filed in Jira?

Hi,

I am looking for a solution to remove an user from the watcher. There are lot of Issue exists In our Jira, the user being In the watcher field. The user account has been deactivated. It will take hell lot of time to remove user for each.

Suggest me any easy way to remove the users from watcher filed.

*Note:- After account deactivation user can`t access jira, no Notification. But presence of deactivated user In wacther list kind of unpleasent.

You should be able to bulk change watchers with the following plugin.

It adds a custom field type of watchers which you can then create a custom field and add to screens.
