Dear Support,
I did a mistake that deleted a task which contains 7 sub-tasks. But I can't remember the task number. Could you please help me find the task history and revoke the task?
Thank you,
Emily Zhou
Hi @Emily Zhou
You aren't the only one who had to deal with this issue. It occurs, and we all need a place to keep our data from being lost forever.
My team has developed the Keep deleted issues feature for the Issue History add-on. So, it's possible to start storing every issue you delete after activating the feature. It may help you to prevent losing data in the future.
Hope it will be helpful for you, and everyone who is looking for something like a trash bin for issues.
Hi @Emily Zhou ,
Unfortunately, recovering deleted Issues in Jira is very complicated. You need to extract the previous backup files, but you will lose the updated data during this period. You can refer to the following posts.

Hi @Ollie Guan ,
Thank you for your help. I decided to create a new task to instead of the old one. I think it will be easier to find the update information from e-mail than from JIRA.
