How to Set the edit permission of Issue Security Schemes to project lead?

I am the JIRA software administrator, project leads hope to update users/groups of target security level by himself. Does JIRA support to set the edit permission of target security schemes to someone while not granted him as JIRA administrator?

No, you must be a Jira administrator to be able to modify issue security schemes.

Hi @liujingwuljw and welcome to the community,

You, as a Jira admin, should set up the security scheme with all the levels and associate it with that specific project. Then on a project level, whoever has the "Set Issue Security" permission, will be able to set a level from that scheme.
