How to a make user contributions anonymous?

Hello,

In our company, we want to make users' contributions anonymous after a defined period (e.g. 6 months) by replacing them with the department's name.

Any suggestions how to do it? We are hoping to find a solution at least semi-automated, since the numbers of users will ramp-up fast.

You will need to set up dummy accounts for each department, and then write some code that can amend all the fields.
