How to activate Kanban backlog?

How to activate Kanban backlog?

I am using JIRA Server v7.3.8 and there is no option to drag and drop backlog status into backlog field near columns in board settings. Is there any other way to activate backlog (separate it from the rest of the board)?

Hey Milutin,

You'll need to upgrade Jira to 7.4 and above since Kanban Backlog was implemented in Jira Software Server 7.4.

Board Settings --> Columns --> Drag and drop the Status from "Kanban Backlog" to TODO column
