How to add Approver in myworkflow

Hi, I want to add "Approver" in our workflow. We already added "Waiting for Approver" status in workflow. Attached screenshot for reference. But my need is, If the assignee needs reporter's Manager approval for laptop/pendrive request, Then assignee need to enter Approval name in Approval field. Then status should automatically changed to "Waiting for Approver" & Reporter will get an email, that this request requires 1 approval from your approver.

After Approver approved the request then status will changed to "Approval Received" or "Resolved" status automatically. If not approved status goes to "Cancelled" status. 

Please help on this & tell me which workflow is correct for this.

You can give a workflow transition for e.g - "Approval needed". Whenever the assignee needs an approval, they need to click the button. On clicking, open a screen with Approver name field. On Submit, transition the workflow to "Waiting for Approver" with the help of post function.
