Hi, I would like to add 'Initiative' issue type as a hierarchy above 'Epic' in a company managed project and link Epic to Initiative as a child issue.

I don't have Jira Portfolio. Is there anyway to do that?

Hi @Ankush Sardana

Welcome to the Community!!

If you are on Jira Premium Plan, you can achieve this by creating a new Issue Type called Initiative and associating "Parent Link" Field for the Issue Type Screen

Here's a guide on the same

Thanks,
Pramodh

No, you'll need an app to provide that higher layer.  Advanced Roadmaps (which used to be called "Portfolio") is the Atlassian way to do it (for which you need to go up to Premium)
