My requirement is to add my Client company so that I can associate my SCRUM projects to my client Company. Is that possible? Appreciate any help. Thanks!

This sounds like you want to store a whole load of project level information in projects that are client projects (each project belongs to a company)

Jira doesn't have project fields like this.  You could use project categories to do a simple one (each project belongs to a category named after the company), but for the functions you describe, you're going to need apps to do it.

I would be looking at either

Insight (can represent Companies as trackable objects in their own right)

Projectrak (provides highly customisable and reportable project level fields)

@Empowered Solutions

Welcome to the Atlassian Community

For this you need to create jira account for your customer or client.

If you don't want to create account then you need to give the anonymous/public access to your scrum project.  So your customer can access the scrum project without having jira account

Actually what I am looking for is adding Client company (let's say: x,y,z) as a separate section which can then be displayed as a drop down list of companies while creating a scrum project so that I can choose/link the client company as part of project settings. Also ability to associate the company while inviting users for the respective company.

@Empowered Solutions

Thanks for explanation

We don't have such facility in jira where you can associate company details while creating project. But we have other fields Project URL, project category, description which you can thought to use for your purpose.

You can also have select list custom field but it will be on issue level

Other wise you can look for some third party plugin where you can add metadata to the project
