How to add a field (actual start) to an Epic only

We want to add the actual start field to an Epic only, not to the rest of the issues (story, task, etc.).

Hey Jeff,

If you want add actual start field only to Epic  then add this field to only Epic screen and not the other issues(story, task) screens.

That did not work since the other issues also are part of the default issue screen. Instead I created a new field configuration scheme for the Epics adding the additional field, thanks.
