How to add a statut to an Epic ?

Hello,

Is it possible to add a custom statut to an Epic ? I've tried to add it but then i can't add transition so isn't possible for me. 

If someone have the answer, it will be great

Hey @Jeanne ROBERT 

If you want to add a custom status just for Epic, you need to first make sure that EPIC type issues have a separate workflow in your project. You can make one by creating a copy of the current workflow you have and adding new status with transitions there. After you have new workflow add it to your workflow schema and bind it to Epic isse type in project settings.

If you do not have permissions to do that - contact your JIRA administrator for help.
