I use an addon called Time Reports to be an effective tool to show work logged. It is a reasonably priced addon. Your requirements may take you beyond the capabilities of this addon so you may need to look at something like Tempo. I don’t have personal experience with this but it is a popular and powerful option from what I have seen,
