Hello,
I am trying to add additional participants for a certain issue type but per this article(https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskserver/adding-request-participants-939926441.html#:~:text=To%20add%20participants%20to%20a,role%20type%2C%20then%20select%20Add.), this is only possible when using JIRA service desk? Can anyone confirm and if that is true, provide me with a way to add additional participants (if it's possible)
thanks,
Joe
Jira has the concept of Watchers. Watchers need to be licensed users in the Jira instance and have project access to the project in question.
JSD has the concept of Watchers, as above, and also Request Participants. Request Participants are similar to Watchers but apply to Customers which are not licensed (free) users. So in JSD you leverage both: RP for customer and Watchers for internal Jira users.
