How to add another status type besides (To do, In progress, Done)

I couldn't find a possibility in Jira Cloud Standard to add another status type besides:

- gray To do

- blue In progress

- green Done

for e.g. purple Ready for Test-flight, so that it would show up in a bar of release completion in another colour. 

Did you have similar need and found a solution for that ?

You cannot add another Status Caregory.

Unfortunately this isn't possible but I would like to echo @Sagar Mahajan suggestion of apps on the Atlassian Marketplace. Although there is nothing yet they may have something in the pipeline for Jira Cloud and may be able to advise a little more.

Hi @Agnieszka Santos For Jira Cloud, you can't add another Status category as Jack mentioned. There are some plugins on atlassian marketplace which provide this functionality but they are currently compatible with Jira Server or Datacenter version only.

You can check with plugin vendor if they have any plans to make a Cloud compatible release.
