How to add fields after issue is moved to next status?

when I create a new issue there are fields I want to appear on screen. after I move the issue to assigned there are more fields I want to add as required (not when issue is new only when it is assigned to someone). When issue is moved to resolved, Verified and re-open there are fields I want to appear for each status and not before. is it possible? if so than how can I configure it?

It seems you're talking more about screens. Have you attempted using screens and creating specific screens within each transition step in your workflow?

I did not try it. can you elaborate what should I do?

I need to create a screen for each phase in my workflow? if so, what should I do next?

Hi @Miriam Feldhamer 

Since you need some fields, looking at the statuses "Resolved", "Verified", "Re-open" these statuses can have a screen on the transition leading to them configured on the workflow. Then you can add those fields you want on those screens.

How you do this is ensure you have Administrator right to alter the configurations.

  1. Create the screens by going to Jira settings > Issues > Screens
  2. Add the new screens per each transition status needed
  3. Go to your Project Settings > Workflow
  4. Edit the workflow and go to Diagram mode, click on the required transition step leading to the status, Click the "edit" button for that status and add the newly created screen.
  5. Save your workflow
  6. You can now go back to the screen's page, click on it and add the fields you need.
