How to add start and end dates to future sprints?

Can only change the dates of the active sprint. Planning & Entering the dates of next sprints is absolutely SCRUM and don't come me with that.

How do I do that?

You can use the REST API to set the startDate and endDate values of any current or future sprint. Once the dates are set on a sprint, you can read them via the REST API too.

Unfortunately, start and end dates for future sprints only become visible on the web interface once the sprint has been started.

Start & end dates of future sprints are also used by Plan.

I agree.  It should be possible to set start/end date for future sprints.  We too want to show them in a plan.

We've tried to update future Sprint dates to reflect changes in Plans, unfortunately, no changes visible there.

Yes. you can change the dates of active sprint . For future sprints (which are not started,) you don't have dates. Dates are provided at start sprint only.
