Hi admins,
When a story created and linked an epic, the story is shown on the epic.
Is it possible to show story points of issues in an epic?
Unfortunately the feature is not there

This question always makes me worry, because it screams that people don't understand what Story points are for.
Imagine an Epic called "renovate a house". You have a team of electricians, a team of plumbers and a team of decorators.
Pick a task like "replace the fuse box". Your electricians team would estimate 8 story points, and that's fine. But if you put it into the decorators or plumbers backlog, they would estimate it as 100 because it's not their field, or 1 to cover the effort of getting it allocated over to the right team.
So, are you sure all your teams are estimating in exactly the same way? I can pretty much guarantee you that they are not.

Hey Nic,
Thank you for explanation.
This info about story points were for scrum master. And we agreed about she can get story points by advanced search and organizing the colums. She just needed take a report of issues by story points and epic.

Has your Scrum Master ensured that all your teams are estimating in exactly the same way?
If they have not, then this is a complete waste of their time and yours, the story points field on the Epic is going to be somewhere between "useless" and "misleading"
