Hello, dear Atlassian specialists!

I switched from jira server to jira cloud and I don't understand anything here. For several days I tried to figure it out on my own, but it did not work out. Can you please tell me how to set up an automation rule?

I need : so that in "project 1" when switching to a specific status, a task is created in "project 2" and immediately there is a subtask in this task. But something doesn't work for me. Tried different combinations.

I would appreciate your help!

Thank you.

Hello @Alex

The rule image that you have showed us has steps to create just one issue of type "Order Picking" in the project "Stock". Is that part working correctly?

To then add a subtask to that newly created issue you need to

- create a Branch/Related Issues for Most recently created issue

- add the step for Create sub-tasks.

However, this is a multiple project rule. Multiple project rules can be created only by Jira Administrators under the System > Global Automation page, and specifying both the source and destination projects in the scope.

And because it is a multiple project rule, you may need to have additional Conditions added so that it runs only when triggered from the project you want to use as the source.
