Hello, dear Atlassian specialists!

I switched from jira server to jira cloud and I don't understand anything here. For several days I tried to figure it out on my own, but it did not work out. Can you please tell me how to set up an automation rule?

I need : so that in "project 1" when switching to a specific status, a task is created in "project 2" and immediately there is a subtask in this task. But something doesn't work for me. Tried different combinations.

I would appreciate your help!

Thank you.Без имени.jpg

@Alex

You seem to have posted the same question in two of the forums here. That is not necessary. Please post your questions in only one forum.

I proposed an alternate solution on your other post.

Hi @Alex ,

From on Project 1 automation rule, you can create parent ticket in Project 2  using action/trigger  "Transition Issue". But you cannot create sub-task in Project 2.
You would need to create a new rule in Project 2 to create sub-task using "Issue created" Trigger.

Sample rule screenshot below. Here I am creating ticket from TMP project to Bug Tracking.
