Working in Jira, not Service Desk. New to Jira as well so learning the ropes. I have stories created. I would like to apply some standard text to the Issue Reporting field (could be a custom field for our instance). This is a situation where I have stories created and I want a blob of text added to this field. I tried templates but that seems to add text upon create. I want to have text added to a field post create.
Any thoughts?
Hi @Angie Penberthy - I am not sure if I understand your requirement in its full scope. But let me ask you if you have considered/explored Workflow post functions, in this context. They should help you with updating an issue's fields, post create. Here is a link that will help with further reading on this topic, if you will.
