How to allow comment on transition but hide comment buttons on the View screen?

Hi All,

Hoping the community can help! :)

We require 'Users' role to be able to leave comments on transition screens but they should not be able to leave comments using 'Comment' buttons on the View screen.

Tried Behaviors, Workflow properties, Script Runner Script Fragments, but all of them did not work as expected.

Is it possible at all? Any thoughts?

I don't think that's going to be possible. You could try JavaScript to hide the button but the user can always use a keyboard shortcut and skip the limitation
