I created 3 ticket types like below. Also I applied subtask function.
I would like to apply same issue type to subtask but when I tried it, Jira rejected that because same name was used in parents ticekt.
Is that impossible to apply same issue type schem to both parent ticket and subtask?
Jira doesn’t allow duplicate names for issue types. This leads to people and possibly the application being confused about about which issue type you need/refer to.
Instead if you want a similar name consider adding sub-task to the name:
