Hi,
Found other threads about this... no solution except answers with probably old screens...
I've created a workflow, assigned a name like what I saw in different videos.
Now when I want to assign it to my project, there's no option in the project parameters: no 'workflow' section. No option in the project board. Just 'manage workflow' on top right... but this option is only to edit the existing workflow. So probably I need to redo everything. Incredible that nobody cares at atlassian to provide any answer to the community.
If anyone has the solution, he will be welcome!
The options you are seeing is based on the fact that the project you are using is a team managed project.
To add a workflow to a workflow scheme and use it in a project or a specific issue type in a project, then the project type you need to use is a company managed project.
In a team managed project you can only edit hte workflow for each separate issue type used in the project.
In a company managed project you can have a single workflow used for all issue types in the project and you can use the workflow in multiple projects.
Be aware only a Jira admin can maintain the workflow, unless the workflow is only used in a single company managed project.

Thanks @Marc - Devoteam for your prompt answer!
Then, good to know the wf can be different for each ticket type for this team-managed projects... but it means we need to redo it step by step, each time for each individual typcket type. No way to simply copy-paste... Sorry, I discover the tool that has great capabilities but looks so long to set-up!

Yes, this is the only option in a team-managed project.
Best practice in your case, is to start using a company managed project.
