Hi guys! Please can someone advice how I can assign more than one reporter as it only allows me to select one contact within that field? This is because where I have some emails that have multiple contacts that are flagging one query and create a ticket, it would be helpful to be able to assign more than one reporter so that I can both reply to multiple reporters within Jira within the ticket and enable the multiple users to respond back to me via the ticket as well.
Hi @ibrahim_musa and welcome to the Community!
A ticket can only have 1 reporter. To solve the issue where there are multiple people involved, you can add the additional people as request participants.
This happens automatically when a ticket is shared from the portal or when you fill out additional people in the request participants field on the ticket.
Important to note that this is a feature of Jira Service Management.
If you only have Jira, you can create a similar behaviour by adding a multi-user field to your project that you can than use along the same principles.
Hope this helps!
