I'm new to JIRA.
I'm carrying out some project management duties at my internship and I'm working with a Kanban template on JIRA Software with intentions on presenting to the marketing team at my company. They need to be able to track their work, and the time they put into their work ("Tasks"), as they're pressed with many projects.
So far I've been able to create "Tasks" with "sub-tasks" nested under them, gave due dates for each "Task" to be done, and I've learned how to add custom fields, for one, to assign groups to "Issues".
Now I want to be able to have times autofilled when creating any sort of "Issue". Is this possible?

@Ian Balas, I think you are going to need to look at some type of app solution. There are a number of apps in the marketplace. Take a look at cPrime's Power Scripts or Adaptavist's Scriptrunner.
