I am trying to figure how to configure an automated workflow for the employee onboard and offboard process. Once a new user is added, I want Jira to generated a notification with the time and date for auditing purposes. Also I want to be able generate a ticket that essentially would work its way over to our it help desk. After this step I want to be able to choose what kind of process I am going through like onboarding, and have it automatically generate sub tasks with checklists catered to that specific process. Basically if I can do this then all I will have to do for a new employee added on then is just create a new ticket because the template will serve as a set of guidelines.

I'm trying to but I am having a bit of trouble doing so. Do you recommend jira service desk for a process like this. I just need an expert like yourself to give me some guidance and show me some steps or give any suggestion. Thanks.
