How to automatically create a ticket with sub-tasks?

Deleted user October 26, 2020

Hello,

How to automatically create a ticket with sub-tasks?

Sub-tasks have their own workflow and have the same name as the corresponding ticket. I wish that when we click on it we have a different screen for each sub-task.

I tried the components but the layout on the side of the ticket does not please me.  I also tried the "Issue Checklist for Jira" app. Free" but I can't use it.

Thank you for your help

Hi @[deleted],

I'm Jack from the Issue Checklist Free team.

Could you let us know why you can't use it? Did you face any issues?

We will be happy to help.

You can also reach our support directly at support@herocoders.com

Hi @Jack Hunter _HeroCoders_

in the view create issue I don't have the "add checklist" button for in your Screenshot.

I'm not sure I installed it well.

Hi Liza,

Please check in your Jira settings if the Issue Checklist app has been installed correctly: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/808779777/Checklist+app+version

Let us know what you can see there.

Cheers,
Jack

It means that the app was not installed.

Please navigate to the sibling "Find new apps" link, search for "Issue Checklist" and try to install it.

Let us if that helps.

Cheers,
Jack

I do that but it still not ok. I just click on the button "App request" or I must do anything else?

Hmm. It looks like someone with more privileges (the Jira site admin?) must approve/install the plugin for some reason.

Can you try to install another free plugin? E.g. Clockwork Automated Timesheets Free? I wonder if the problem affects all plugins or Issue Checklist Free only.

Let us know.

Thanks,
Jack

@Jack Hunter _HeroCoders_

it was a problem of privilege. Everything is good now.

Thank you very much for your help
