How to before Issue Create, set Customfield Value with script runner.

Dear All.

I want to set to customfield value before create issue. (USING Script Runner)

Is it possible to before Create Issue event? (not use post function)

When I checked it, it was not working in VALIDATOR option.

Please tell me how.

Hi JongBum,

a validator is not setting any values. It is just validating if a certain condition is valid or not.

But of course, you can set a value before firing the create event. The event is fired after every other post function. We also do something with post functions before firing the event:
