We need to call jelly script from workflow button , example when user click on "submit issue" button when creating issues. jelly script which we have written have capability to check due date and change issue status to "Overdue" , but currently jelly scripts run's as service but we dont' want to run it as service
could any one help me ,how to achieve it
Jelly scripts can only be run by administrators, so there's not a lot of point in trying to do this as a button - most of your users simply won't see it.
I'm really not sure you have a useful requirement here. If the users are supposed to be triggering this change when they notice it (instead of a Jelly script doing it automatically on a schedule), then all you need to do is give them the "overdue" transition. A script is utterly pointless here, all it does is duplicate an action you can configure in the UI in a few seconds.
